Can anyone weigh in on the duty stations most likely to be assigned to warrant officer pilots?

If you know what he's going to fly, you can google to se which bases have that aircraft.

It'll just depend on the airframe he gets and what the needs are at that time. Blackhawks have the most options though. It seemed like assignments were given in groups..like one class will have a ton go to Ft. Bliss while the next goes to Carson, etc. We had lots of friends go to Germany and Hawaii though and even one got Japan despite the fact that it wasn't on their list.

I hear they're going to be replaced by Apaches in a restructuring program.

58s are going to be totally gone by 2018. Lewis has already turned their birds over to Korea and the last unit that will fly them are Bragg. They already have the last class of Chiefs in school for Kiowas so if he hasn't already been picked for Kiowas then that won't be his aircraft.
