Gaining Top Secret clearance - Military Career Progression

Soooooo if DB decides to go for all of this will they be a running credit reports/background check on me as well? Will this affect his chances of getting his clearance? I know they may want to talk to me, but what about everything else? What should I expect to happen when they start going through things?

I doubt they will if you are just a girlfriend. If you were married, perhaps.

You're not married. I don't mean this to be rude, but you're of absolutely no significance to the military as someone tied to him, except as a character witness for his clearance.

and it won't make a difference that we "co-habitate"...

Nope they may ask some questions about you and you about your dh but they won't divulge into you like the do your db....military does not recognize gf's sorry

No, You should be okay. They might check you out a little bit, just to ensure he is not at risk for "bribery" but I would not worry. My DH has a TS and I am a citizen of a different country and at the time had NO credit in the US. (And we were married, so I think you are okay)
And when I mean check you out, while they are doing investigations people might ask if he is seeing anyone, you will probably not hear much if anything about it.
Often times they ask the people the person who is being investigated put down as references if they know anyone else who works or spends a lot of time with said person.

They'll talk to you and ask you questions about him. But, since you're not married, that'll be about it.

They might not even do that. Some of the investigators don't interview significant others.

But if they do come talk to you, that will be the extent of it.
