Does anyone know anything about the medic training? I know it is really hard and intense but is there any libo time? Are they allowed contact with family and friends at all? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ah lol, gotcha. I could tell you a novel about being a Navy corpsman but I am not much help with the Army. I hope someone else has some info for you!

Medic training is for I think 18 weeks at Ft Sam Houston in San Antonio. DH and I both went there for AIT but for a different MOS. It is pretty tough but they do get down time and all. The link for AMEDD C&S is down or I would put that up to show you an idea of the training.
