Recruiter School? - Military Career Progression

I know there is a sticky for this...I asked but not a lot of answers.

My DH is doing recruiter duty after deployment. DH is excited as am I. What was something that your SO's liked or disliked about recruiter school?

He liked the bars but he was single at the time. He hated the weather, city in general (if he goes to Jackson). Columbia is the armpit of the world- the three rivers make for some great parks but they also make for an oppressive climate. I hated the people there, for the most part, when I was there but I think that had more to do with my XDH meeting his girlfriend there.

He will be going to Navy R.S. I think he said it was in Florida.

RS for the Army was about 6 weeks at Fort Jackson, SC. And,we truly do not miss that duty!!

DH is headed to recruiting school after this deployment as well. The adventure of recruiter life begins

DH did the school at Ft. Jackson (Army)... there wasn't much he really loved or hated about it. It was just another school to him. It was nice that we were stationed at Bragg though and he came home every weekend!

My fiance is going to recruiter school in Florida as well!!!! Not sure when though!! It depends on if he has to deploy or not!
