Another Khaki Ball ?

I got my dress last week. But, now I'm wondering what to do with my hair. What is typical? Keep hair down? An up do? I have trouble with certain up do looks but a french twist looks nice on me. Tight curls don't look good on me so if I go with a down look I was thinking to do what I normally do and keep it pretty straight, like in the CPO pinning ceremony pics I have on here.

I wore mine mostly down with just a few pieces pulled back. I have curly hair. Most of the women at ours were wearing their hair down or pulled back. I didn't see too many up do's.

I had my hair done and put up. I wanted up for the evening and know it was a better choice for me.

I missed the Khaki Ball this year due to travelling and moving, but when I went to two in Hawaii there were all sorts of different looks.

I think I'm just going to go with it down. Maybe I'll do a couple nice clips or something. I like the french twist on me but I remember back to prom. The day afterwards was a mess. I had sprayed so much hairspray on it that it took forever to get my hair out it and all the bobby pins holding it in place. It looked like a hens nest until I washed it. lol

I did an updo for ours last year. But my hair is pretty long. I wore a nice black dress and then had the updo done with curls coming down from it. I missed this years due to deployment

I don't usually do anything fancy for khaki balls. I usually just wear it down or pulled back in a simple clip. I know some women do like to do more with theirs though.

We missed this year but last year I wore it down and wavy/curly. My hairdresser let me stop by her house on the way to the ball and set it with a big barrel curling iron. Nothing too over the top. I've always worn it down in the past.

The first year, I wore it up with a pretty clip. Last year, I curled it with hot rollers and then used pretty combs to pull back the sides. This year, I brushed it out straight (it's never "flat" straight), and sprayed it.. I liked it that way.. plus I didn't have to worry about anything slipping..

I saw a lot of ladies with their hair either down, or pulled half up.
