CPO pinning this week!

I bet all you with CPO selects can not wait to get that over with! I can't wait to see the pictures from those who are lucky enough to be able to attend! I know not everyone gets to especially those who are deployed but hopefully pics of their pinning will be sent.

This is when my dh was pinned, that his mom with him. I was too busy taking pictures to think to stop and get some with me and him, LOL! Oh well. This was Sept 17, 2006 in Imperial Beach which is in San Diego.

I'm so excited. John's grandma flies in Tuesday morning. She is sitting with the kids while I pin him. Our DD is pretty good with the camera so she is in charge of pics while I'm pinning him. I've already asked John to please stay awake afterwards long enough so I can get pics of all of us with him. lol John's been getting his uniform ready since they have to take it in tomorrow. We got 99% of the list yesterday. It took forever since he had just got it on Fri. The remainder of it will be taken care of tomorrow.

Yeah, hard to believe! My dh will be going down to Chinhae Navy base tomorrow, we're in Korea, for the pinning. There are 4, I think, getting pinned. I am always excited about new chiefs.

YAY!! I know I am sooo excited for him to be DONE! I had a photog all lined up to come with us, but she landed in the hospital all last week so I'm not sure she's gonna be able to make it!

I can't wait for this to be all over. I'm currently in the parking lot or mwr while J is renting the outdoor equipment for the night before. They just received the list and are running around like chickens with the heads cutt off HELP.... Haha I can't wait to be able to take pictures and say its done its over let's go home and sleep....

Congrats again to everyone !! I can't believe it is almost over finally...lol MIL came in yesterday and everyone else is coming up tues! Can't wait to get pics and see all the pics from everyone. Take care and have a great day Wednesday everyone!!!!

So true. Once they sponsor, it's like they go through the whole thing all over again. It's a moment neither of you will ever forget though. Remember, let them sleep.. they're going to need it. DH passed out at the table while we were eating lunch with his family... then when we got home, he slept for several hrs. just to feel like he could function.
