promotion?
What did you wear to your so's promotion?
Dh made captain this month and finally gets pinned 1 September, I will be pinning him but I'm not sure exactly what to wear. I know it won't be a big ceremony b/c he is the only one getting promoted, but I do know everyone in the office will be attending. Is a cocktail dress appropriate? TIA |

I wore a black and white skirt from White House/Black Market and a black cashmere sweater and sandals but it was for his E-5 promotion ceremony

I was in your exact situation in June!
Here's a pic of us right after I pinned him. Sleeveless dress and above the knee. Tried to be a little conservative because I knew I would be the ONLY female there and you likely will be too! Make sure you wear something you're comfortable in!
