And how is it different from the other intelligence jobs (Navy etc.)?

    Just wondering...

I don't have my links right now, but google does a fantastic job of pulling up the Marine intel base command site, and has all the MOS listings, their book list, how to lat move, and a whole bunch of other things on just that site alone.

Oh wait, found my main link http://hqinet001.hqmc.usmc.mil/dirint/default.html

I was going to say that, but I didn't want to come off completely flip.

Think about the different objective missions overall of each branch, and that should help you understand the differences. The Marines support the navy, and can work on land or in the water. The navy works primarily in the context of maritime law and intel and threats... and they both work together to support each other.
