now i have to go buy a whole new ward robe because i never knew that i wasw earing wrong stuff with his unifroms..

Andreacc ~ this should help =)

Marine equivelent:

Working Uniforms = Camies
Whites or Blues = Charlies or Alphas
Dress Uniform = Dress Blues w/o gloves BUT if with gloves (which is considered the "Full Dress Uniform") then you would wear that lil black dress that Melissamc424 said was your friend .(which is a true statement).

Um... We're new to all of this military stuff... my daughter's DB is the Marine.. what is "Pinning?"...

It literally means pinning something on the uniform.. In the Navy it's the ceremony where your Warfare designation is placed, or when your anchors are pinned on, when you're promoted to Chief (E7)..
