GAS chamber! - Military Boot Camp

Have any of your SO's ever talked about having to go through the Gas chamber during training? I don't know if all of the branches do it, but..

Yes, my DH had to go through that in bootcamp, and twice while he was on deployment in Japan.

Yeah, DH went through it....he said it was fun...but he's weird like that.

ugh, guys are wierd. The last time he had gas training, the SO brought his video camera inside, and they all passed it around and taped each other while they took off their masks..

Then, I got to see what he looks like with 2 feet of snot coming out of his eyes...

Yep my DH had to do it for bootcamp, that's the only time that I know of that he's done it. He's said that it wasn't that bad for him but he doesnt' want to do it again...

DF didn't have to do it but then again he is in the Coast Guard (even though personally I think they should get that training because ya never know)

yeah, df said it was okay, and that he didnt think he would have been able to do it.

I don't remember DH ever mentioning it to me, but that doesn't mean he hasn't. I'm gonna have to ask when he gets home!
