so confused.. - Military Boot Camp

i just got a letter from my boyfriend today, and it was amazing. all the wonderful mushy gushy stuff

..he was kind of like that before, but way more now that we are apart. but anyways i get to see him in a week (he graduates boot camp) and he was only given liberty. i got a phone call last week and he said "i get liberty that weekend" so i don't know if he gets liberty for thanksgiving because he graduates the day before. and in his letter he said he can't wait to finally sleep in the same bed as me, but that confused me because i thought that guys on liberty had a curfew and had to be back at base. i was also told that while in uniform they can't hold your hand or anything, and that when they are on liberty they always have to wear their uniforms. i am so confused. o military life. haha. so if any of you have anything to tell me that will help me out i would really appreciate it. thanks!

Yeah you're right on with everything you said. They do have a curfew... maybe he hasnt been told that yet, and doesnt quite understand that yet. Also yeah in uniform you can hug, kiss, or hold hands while he's on a base (atleast thats what my mother said whos a navy wife) but you can hold onto his arm.

So yeah. Anywho have fun!

I think it depends on where he's going to his A school at after graduation.

DJ was able to come home with me for 2 days of liberty when he graduated.

Oh and as long as you aren't humping his leg or shoving your tongue down his throat, you'll be fine to give him a congratulatory hug and kiss (quick kiss) after the graduation. Everyone does.

Somtimes they have liberty where they can spend the night...i think if their school is long and its up in great lakes they get over night(karis husband did) it also depends on the divison and what they are granted.

Depends on alot of factors for alot of things so I wouldnt get hopes set on anything til you get here.

As far as overnight liberty goes I am fairly certain that REALLY depends on alot of factors. And yes he will have to wear his uniform out everywhere. And no you don't want to be "making" out while he is in uniform. I quick tasteful peck to say congrats etc is fine. As far as the 4 day weekend I have NO clue how that works. I would have to ask my neighbor and he is at work. Its a 4 day weekend and if he grads and is granted liberty then yeah he should have those 4 days. Just be prepared that it is possible he may have a curfew and it is possible he may not. Don't bank on anything til ya get here and see whats up

nicole was right some get to stay over night, not many tho. i know Db and I stayed in bed and napped a lot lol. ur Db might be saying that kind of thing. and yea uniform all the time and you can hold his hand but only sitting down. you cant kiss in public. be careful if you do b/c one of Db's friends got introuble b/c he was seen doing it.

yeah all the ladies are right with what they are saying. it all depends, my df thought that he was able to stay over night but then the day of grad. he found out about the curfew each night over the weekend. so you will find out then
