He's Gone... - Military Boot Camp

DB left tonight for Basic/AIT & I just have soooooooooooo many emotions right now.

I miss him soooooooooooooooo much! I knew that this was coming. I thought I could stay strong; that didn't last long. On the way back to school from DB's house; after spending the day with his family....I broke down.

Then, I get to school and go take a shower; hoping it would help me feel somewhat better only to get out and notice that I've missed his call. I missed it by 2 minutes and I just am so upset with myself right now.

Hang in there! These first few days are terrible. So don't feel weak when all you wanna do is cry like a baby and snuggle up to your teddy bear. It does get easier I promise. Start writing letters now, it helps so much. And if he promised you the "I'm alive" call make sure you keep your phone on you at all times for the next week or so along with a pencil/piece of paper to write his address down in case he has it for you in those precious few minutes. If his parents are getting the first call pass that tip along to them.

hang in there!

stay strong. you can do this! it flys by! stay as busy and possible. write tons of letters. spoil yourself. etc etc! always have your phone, you never know! but before you know it you will be seeing him again and it'll seem like he never left! PM box is always open!

My DB left yesterday. It is the worst feeling I've ever had to deal with so far. It's absolutely horrendous. But I'm hoping it will be ok soon, and I know you are too. Message me if you wanna talk.
