He left today. - Military Boot Camp

And it took everything I had not to cry in front of him. I teared up, and he started to cry, but I didn't break down until I was outside the recruiters office.

It felt like someone ripped half of me off. And he's only going to be gone two months. I do NOT know how you other ladies handle these THREE month bootcamps.

Wow. I have so much respect for military wives/girlfriends/fiancess now that he is actually gone. SO, hopefully these two months fly by, and they get my baby back to me before Christmas!!! Lol! I'm going to try and keep it together till then.

You WILL be okay. That first day always stinks. Now that the goodbye is over you can focus on the hello. Start writing letters and write the every day. Take care of yourself and focus on your to do list. He will be home before you know. Hang in there!

You'l be able to do it. Break down when you want eat things you tell yourself that you won't, watch sappy movies that make you cry. You'll pull through and it will seem like you just saw him yesterday. Write letter as much as you can. Send him pictures, he'll love them and take them everywhere.

You'll be okay. Just keep busy and get into a routine and do something to occupy yourself and time will pass!

My DB left on Sunday, the first night was the hardest but now I've made it through 2 nights and it doesn't sting as much. You will get through this.

I had heard the first night was the worst, and I believe it. Lol!

Just try not to focus too much on him being gone. The thing that helped me was putting on a DVD of "friends" and I fell asleep to that. Also, I'm usually up late, so if you can't sleep feel free to PM me
