I'm new to this boot camp thing - Military Boot Camp

DH leaves for Great Lakes on the 25th. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself. How did you girls do it?

well, he's my ex now. But, I wrote him everyday. had alot more time for friends, so we did things together. it's hard, but when you do get a phone call, it makes it all worth it.

Try to keep busy and write alot it will help both of you. Time will pass before you know it.

I am getting ready to go through boot camp with DB. He leaves the 4th of Nov. So if you need someone to talk to or anything just PM me anytime!

my guy just left last week for Ft Sill, OK. i was lucky enough to talk to him almost every day in reception, and now that hes in the actual BCT he can call on sundays. i try to write him a little every day so he gets one big letter once i get his address, and i talk to him once a week. but between working full time, school, and friends, i dont really have too much free time to worry about missing him too much. and i wouldnt have it any other way

Take care of yourself. Try new things or something that you havent had time to do. Dont take it as a separation, but a time to grow in yourself and your relationship. Hang in there

I'm a freshman in college so that eats up a lot of my time. And I've pickedd up a lot of random hobbies ever since starting colllege so that helps a lot. But writing him everyday made me feel better about not being about to talk to him. But time will pass quickly if you keep yourself busy.

DF just got back from BCT && AIT Friday night. It seems like its going to be impossible to get through but the time really does fly by. The best thing to do is to keep busy, do things you have always wanted to do but never did cause your SO was around. Write lots of letters. The beginning is the worst, but once you get into a routine it gets easier. Just keep hanging in there.
