I MISSED his call!!!!
I'm feeling like a terrible wife right now. Ever since Dh has left I've been really good about keeping my phone on me at all times no matter what. Today I went to get to the kitchen to get lunch and left my phone in my room. When I realized I didn't have it I went back to get it and saw that I had missed three calls from DH all within a span of 5 minutes and I was only a couple minutes after the last call . He left two messages and in the last one, when he realized I wasn't picking up, he started crying. Seriously, he just sounded beaten down and it was so hard to hear. I know he's going through a hard time and it sounded like he needed someone to talk to and I wasn't here.
 It's so frustrating that the one time I forget my phone he calls. I REALLY needed to talk to him too. I really don't know how I'm going to do this. It really, really sucks and who knows when he'll be able to call again.

Trust me, it happens. We've all been there, we've all had that one missed call that we needed. When I missed a call from DB during basic, I was really upset but I ended up writing him what I was doing, why I missed his call, and everything I would have told him if I did pick up the phone.

i felt the same when i missed DH's call. and i missed the FIRST one. luckily i havent missed on since then. trust me your not a horrible wife. =)

keep your head up sweetie and dont worry its a big adjustment for him also. Just because he was upset you didnt answer doesnt make you a bad wife. Show him that you can stand tall while he is gone and it will make you and him feel better

awwrghh :-( ya I hate that feeling too.. esp. when he was in basic, and I'd be working while he called and wouldn't get the chance to call again soon. Noo, you're not bad hehe
