the easy part is almost over :(

So my "its complicated" has been in Reception at Ft Sill, OK for almost a week. they head off to their "final racks" on wednesday and start the real boot camp stuff. While hes in reception they've let them have their cell phones from 7-8 at night so hes gotten to call his family every night. and i got a 20 minute phonecall last night and he promised he'd try to call at least one more time before wednesday (usually when he calls home, his whole family is there so they take up his whole hour of talk time. which is fine. i told him talking to them is way more important than talking to me) so i cant wait to get to hopefully talk to him one more time. but the easy part is almost over, and its about to get to where none of us will really hear from him much at all.

not really sure what the point of this was.... i just kinda had to get it out somewhere.... im kinda nervous, bc i dont know how we are going to come out at the end of this whole thing.... and i guess im just being whiney. haha sorry.

anyway, how are the rest of you BCT ladies? anybody seing their men anytime soon?

well, I know the easy part is almost over...but look at it like this, he will officially start BCT and you can start counting down the days til' it's over with!

my DB was at Fort Sill in July for BCT and he got to call every sunday. so hopefully your "it's complicated" will get the same privileges.

Yeah, im looking forward to being able to start counting down. he'll get leave for christmas before he goes up for AIT so ive got something to look forward too. and i cant wait for him to get his address settled so i can start writing him.

and ill be keeping my fingers for some decent phone time. at least for him to call his parents, bc then they will call me to let me know they heard from him and tell me how hes doing.

im a needy lil weenie so BCT has been really rough on me...hopefully you have an easier time and hear from your man a lot more than i did.

My DH is at Ft Sill for basic. He is 3 weeks in and so far has been able to call on Sundays. This past Sunday we talked for 45 minutes. When he was in reception we talked everyday.
Hopefully he will be able to keep the phone calls coming.
