Phone Call!!! - Military Boot Camp

I just wanted to share my good news! DH got to call me tonight! I might have posted before that he hurt his foot, but all is good now! They are making him tough it out, seeing as there are only a few weeks of basic left. He also found out where we are getting stationed!!![i know this could prob. change] I am super excited[but now getting my hopes up too high] because it's Kentucky, which is where half of my family is, and it's right in between our parents! I was totally surprised! He said it had originally been Fort Drum [NY], which we really wanted, but being the selfless man he is, he traded with someone[who didn't want KY], so that I would be near family! It was so amazing to hear his voice, and I made him laugh his real laugh. First laugh I have heard since he's been gone!!!I was so afraid they would drain out his sense of humor. And if this isn't enough good news, he said he might get to call me again tomorrow

! I am honestly so grateful to everyone on here...it's really nice to have people to share this with that actually care and understand.

i love you guys! Thanks for being there for me! And for all you ladies dealing with basic, just remember, everyday that passes, we are that much closer to our men
