A-School? - Military Boot Camp

Does anyone know how soon the recruits go to A-school from boot camp? I've heard that it depends on if they get Liberty or Grad and go, it wasn't very clear.

If I remember rihgt mine went right to A-school

mine was grad and go...got a week leave, than went to A-school

My dh went straight to A-school and then got leave I guess it just depends on what school they are going to and when the next class is!

It depends. Not everyone goes to their school right after graduation. Some stay here, some go on leave, some go straight to school, just depends.

dh was grad-n-go. but he had the whole weekend after graduation to spend with me before he started school on monday cause his school was right there in great lakes.

when it's nearing the end of bootcamp, you'll get graduation information in the mail. it'll tell you who he has on the list for graduation, and i believe it tells you if he's a grad-n-go

My ex went to A school for ET in Great Lakes, he started school right after grad.

My DH graduated on a Friday and then went to come school (on Monday) while waiting for his A-school to begin...it was something they do to hold them while they wait
