I Can Finally Breathe. - Military Boot Camp

While I was at work late this afternoon I get a phone call from Seth's mom saying that Seth was on the phone with his dad that very moment. I told her to just tell Seth that I love him and I'm thinking of him always. I was bummed out cause I knew I wouldnt get a phone call, but understood that he called his father on Father's Day. Well like 5 minutes later my phone rings again and I look at it and see the (706) area code - I automatically just started crying, then he started crying! We got to talk for like 2 minutes! (It had been a month since I had heard his voice) So I'm putting my residents to bed (I'm an STNA at a nursing facility) and my phone starts ringing again. I look down and it's the (706) area code again - I answer but I can't hear him. He finally hangs up and I'm just a mess. He calls back a second time and the same thing happened - yes by now I'm running outside of the building thinking it's my phone (I work in the middle of a cornfield in the country). Well I wait a few minutes and my phone rings again and all I hear is "CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW!" then we both just started busting out laughing. I then got to talk to him for 10 MINUTES! Good news is he is doing GREAT - he is like one of the top guys in his platoon. But the best news is his graduation date didn't change! He said they didn't actually send them back to red phase, they just got treated like they were in red phase! I really needed that phone call! Only 24 more days till I get to see him.
