I got my first letter! kinda upset

But my bf is not happy at all! He says his division is a bunch of clowns who all they want to do is play and joke, and that they wont even graduate on time. He said some in his division was caught having a rap battle in the corner smh.. wat makes me even sadder is the fact that i emailed RTC PAO and got his email and was giving a link to a webpage with the format i should use to write his letter. well today i get his letter and it has a different address one it! ive been writing to 3505 he just sent me a letter from 3508. i dont even think he received my first two letters because he didnt even mention them. which makes me sad-er. lol. i tried calling RTC but they wont answer and mailbox is too full.

I'm sorry hun. Try writing a letter to 3508 and ask him to let you know if he got it. And just let him vent to you. I'm sure there are always going to be immature guys who screw things up for everybody. I'm just sorry that he's gotta suffer the consequences.

I think if you put his ship # on it (same one as mine), it'll find its way there. And he wouldn't have gotten your letters by the time he wrote his. Dont worry, he'll get your letters. And if he doesn't, then my boy wont get his. In which case, we'll storm Great Lakes together and HAND them their letters.

Uhh..nothing is wrong with rap battles but there is a time and place for everything. and if you want your division to graduate on time but all they wanna do is sit in the corner and have freestyle sessions and make your division do rack drills for two hours because of it then everything wrong. im want my babez to graduate on time.

I am sorry you are upset. my dh just got out of army basic and the others in his group got in trouble all the time-one time they stole candy from the drill ser. break room, then one of them went awol..........the list goes on and on. sorry about the letter thing too...maybe they will get them to him! i hope you gwet to feeling better soon and hopefully he will get to graduate on time!

yeah, during DFs basic, two guys tried to break into a drill sergeants office to get their mail (they were all being punished for something... ) and the two guys were in DFs squad (he was a squad leader)
i know DF HATED basic at first... even wanted to get OUT of the army all together because he was so unhappy... but then he was in a bit longer and started enjoying it and was HAPPY... his problem was just adjusting to being around different people in a completely new situation.

now at AIT.. well reception before AIT.. he is feeling the same again.. wants to get out... but its just because he isnt doing anything.. its all new.. and he is homesick for me. i know once classes start and he is actually working, he will come around again.

give him some time to adjust to everything and learn to deal with all the idiots around him.
