Does anyone here know what goes on at Navy Bootcamp?
I'm just a little curious to know if anyone has any stories to tell about their loved one going through Bootcamp. I've heard that the guys cannot talk to the girls, and that well, they get their asses handed to them lol. My boyfriend actually is having FUN in Bootcamp, how? I do not know lol.

It is fun. I went. It isn't that bad. Boys can't talk to girls unless they are in the same division. It's how you look at what you are going through is how you are going to take the experience. I had a blast.

there's a lot of obstacle course training - that is usually a lot of fun-- also, I thought they were supposed to learn how to clean things spic and span-- my Dad became an awesome mopper after OIS-- they have classroom time to learn Navy stuff like UCMJ-- if ur DB is in good shape, the running & marching aren't too bad-

Hmmm... I didn't do alot of obstacle course training but that was nearly 7 years ago
We did lots of marching, drilling, classroom time, laundry, cleaning, and working out.

GOOD, Taylor was a friggen slob lol. His room looked like a Tornado went through it. What I'm excited for, is to see him in that uniform. I hope I can go get him at the airport when he gets home. I can't wait to jump in his arms. I think my eyes will be the lize of large melons lol. Joy, I was just looking at those pictures, it must be such an amazing feeling to go get someone you haven't seen in months. YAY, I can't wait for that moment lol.

My boyfriend is Army so it is different, but he says he's enjoying it at this point too. His first comment was "we're all getting our asses handed to us, but it's ok, it's only making us better. The fun stuff starts next week." I was shocked to read "Fun Stuff", but he's having a good time, and I think that's for the better. Makes it easier to handle waiting for them, if they are enjoying themselves.
