    Question Tricare question

    Advertisements
Will Tricare pay for a maternity belly band or an abdominal band. My doctor told me I needed to get one of those because my pelvic bones have seperated and I need something to hold them together and take the pressure off.

If your not sure what they look like this is the maternity one

    This is the abdominal one

they should if your doctor writes that it is medically necessary, but be prepared to fight for it

i got something like the 2nd link you posted after my c-section.. it was given to me at the hospital, and worked great at helping me feel like my insides weren't gonna spill out everywhere..

Tricare should cover something like that if it's prescribed by your OB.

Well, I'm what I am and I'm what I'm not
and I'm sure happy with what Iíve got
I live to love and laugh alot
    and thatís all I need

I bet they would. I'm sure you could just pick one up at a military hospital actually.
