    I think it would only matter if the family member files for (and gets) EFM status.

    Yes I think that also affects the AD memeber also. I am not sure who to call about that maybe tricare or a detailer. Good question.

    Everything comes up in an overseas screening. Any medical condition can affect overseas orders.
    Needs work.

    It doesn't affect the AD member UNLESS it is a condition in which there is no medical care for where they are going. Just like EFMP. If a station does not have the right care for that dependent, they don't go to that station, usually.

    It depends on the status of your treatment, and when it happened in relation to the overseas duty station. And it also matters whether or not they can continue your treatment when you get there. For the most part it has very minimal impact. The only thing that it really matters for is if you still need treatment, they won't send you where you can't get it.
