Question Tricare and Nat. Guard Question

    Advertisements
Okay my hubby is NG, and is currently deployed so we have Tricare currently. When he gets home though, we won't because he only does the weekend/month...2 weeks a year thing......
So, does anyone know if we can get Tricare after he gets home (he says he thinks so, but doesn't remember/have a chance to talk to someone about it). And if so, does anyone know around how much it costs out of our pocket that way?

Thanks I wondered about them having like a grace period for when he gets back.. So I don't have to worry about being without insurance automatically.

He has a civilian job.. as an EMT but he's really wanting to find a different company to work for or maybe go down a different path... so he may not be working right away.
Yep we are Guard..I also didn't know you were either... because like you said there aren't many.

He's a combat medic..... which is what he loves to do, and does in Civ life as well ( basically, as an EMT).

That he is . He's such a great guy, so caring and wants nothing more in life than to help people (hence his EMT, combat medic, and volunteer firefighting duties). And so brave and handles it all so well..... Man I love him!
