    Mad Just a little rant...

I'm not one who wears my husband's rank on my sleeve or anything like that. The gals on here who've met me know that!
But anywho, seeing as we're not allowed to go into the e-club no longer(we have to go to the o-club now...)...don't you think we'd be able to live in o-housing?! Oh but no....
If we choose to live in enlisted housing in norfolk, it's going to be strange at ALL the stares we'd get when Bryan comes homes in his officer candidate uniform, since they're khakis.

A little background for those who don't know, my husband got picked up for the STA-21 program and will be beginning his first semester of college this Fall at Old Dominion University. We were trying our damndest to get a 3br home in housing, so that we can have an extra room for his studying. My husband will be a full-time college student for the next THREE years. That'll be his "active duty job."

That's ridiculous. But if your neighbors give you any funny stares, don't pay any attention. Good luck to Dh with his schooling!!

I don't see why anyone would look at him too funny Victoria, Chief's come home in their khaki's all the time. And if they do look funny, to heck with them! No worries girl, you'll find a great place I'm sure!

Well, I'm what I am and I'm what I'm not
and I'm sure happy with what Iíve got
I live to love and laugh alot

We have Chiefs that live here, we are E-6 and below housing. I have never seen it an issue.

Exactly.. if DH gets selected this year, we're not moving just because this isn't E7 housing...

If housing says you qualify for it and lets you move in, that's all the justification you need!

Thanks for the reassurance! I've only lived in E-6 and below housing and NEVER saw anyone in khakis...lol!

Oh we have.. there were Chiefs that lived in housing in Groton, right next to newbies who were in subschool... so it does happen!
