    thanks. i have a prescription from my old civilian dr. can i just use that until i get my PCM up here? i finally got transferred from tricare south to triwest so i need to check in at the bangor clinic and everything and then get a pcm from there.

    I think you can...it would depend on the date and stuff too....but that is one reason they do the mail order though, just in case your have scripts from civi docs or they don't carry your script on base. I would call the 1800 # if there is one just to be safe

    Isn't the mail order thing for refills of rx's that were prescribed at an MTF? I know you can take your written rx to the pharmacy at the hospital and they'll fill it for you if they have the medication available. The co pay for generic is only $3 and $9 for name brand I think if you need to go out in town for it.

    Actually highlighting everything and hitting delete was a lot easier than fixing what was here....
