    GI Bill Question

    Advertisements
I thought I remembered reading a while ago that once someone qualifies to sign over their GI Bill it could be used to pay down student loans up to a certain dollar amount. Now that I'm looking for that info again, I can't find it! Does anyone know anything about that scenario?

I've not heard that and went digging and didn't see anything about it either. You might need to call the VA regional office for where you are to ask or contact them by email if you don't want to be on hold for awhile.

The GI bill (to the best of what *I* remember) does pay for already incurred student loans. It only pays for student debt after the gi bill is signed over.
