    Dental

    Advertisements
My husband tried to add our son to the family dental plan with Metlife but it stated that the premium would come to $65 a month. Does anyone know why it is so much? I thought the family plan was around $32 or something? It seems way over priced to go from $11 for just me to $65 for myself and my not-even-2 year old son. My husband is planning to call, but sometimes he takes forever to get around to things like this! Thanks

Hmm, I don't know why it would be that amount. Our family plan is $32.89 a month.

I would definitely call and see what they say. Good luck!

It sounds like they are taking their 2 months payment in advance. Tricare dental almost always takes the first two months up front when changing status.
But yeah, it should be like $32.89 a month for a family. The rate is different for just a spouse vs spouse and children.

Yes, the website lists all the costs based on rank.. percentages they will pay, maximums they will pay, deductible that has to be met, etc.
