    What do you mean? The insurance for the spouse and family?
    Should be right away. You'll have to wait to get the information though from him so you can get the mil id.
    As for bah it could take a couple weeks or a month or so.

    all reservists are considered AD while attending BCT and AIT. it can take several weeks for the packet to get mailed to you and then you can go get your ID card.
    once he is done with school in order to keep the health insurance you will need to pay out of pocket for it ( unless he is called up to AD)
