    Tricare Remote?

    Advertisements
Hubby was told that since he is now a recruiter and we are not near a military installation that we have to switch from Tricare Prime to Tricare Remote? Does anyone know anything about this plan? Is it similar to Tricare Prime? I've looked on the website and got some general information but just was wondering if anyone had any first hand knowledge of it? TIA

We had it when I went home for deployment. It is just like Tricare. There is a problem finding doctors who will take Tricare though when are not near an MTF. And we had to pay for scripts out of pocket with a copay because we had to get them filled at local pharmacies.
