Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood (MCCYN)

    Advertisements
Has anyone ever used the Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood (MCCYN)? My best friend will be watching our DD this summer but I need to get her into childcare from about september untill we move in decemberish. I was looking at kinder care and saw that as an option. Has anyone ever used it and could give me some input?

    Never even heard of it.

Is that like a FCC Provider?

There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't

Thanks! Do you know if there's a way to find out how much assistance we'd actually get? I dot want to apply for it if we're not going to be able to affor it regardless, ya know?

You can't find out what you'll get until you apply for it. From our experience it is typically around 50%. You don't have to use it if you decide you still can't afford it, and the application isn't too difficult or time consuming.
