    Moving for MOS

    Advertisements
I am married and my husband is in boot camp right now. I have heard that if his schooling is longer than six months I will be allowed to move to his school location (paid for by the military) and he can live with me again. His MOS is aviation mechanics and his schooling is supposed to be a year or more long. I have seen mixed messages everywhere about this! I was wondering if anyone has actually had experience with this?

school has to be 20 weeks ( the navy requires 6 months) or longer and when he gets orders they will be accompanied if the school is 12 months or longer.

So his school will have to be 12 months or longer then? Or 20 weeks or longer?

sorry puncuation would have really helped with what I wrote-

Since the school is more than 6 months the orders will be accompanied.
Because his school is 12 months long or longer they will pay for you to move with him.
