    Confused Tricare plans?

    Advertisements
Im back again with another question (always with the questions, lol)

My husband enrolled me in Tricare, but I am not sure which plan, and I need to know a couple of things:
1)How do I find out which plan I have?
    2) Does my Military ID act as my insurance card or do I need to get one from Tricare?

Ive looked at the Tricare website and I got a little overwhelmed, so I thought I would start here. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

By the way, Im not near a freezer but Im real!!

Thanks so much for all of your answers.

I got stuff in the mail that initially said I was enrolled in standard (can go off base) then a few weeks later DH enrolled me in prime (must go on base) and I got another form stating who my Dr was and when coverage started and numbers to call to if I had any questions. Don't know if you have dental too but I also got cards in the mail for that.

Your insurance card for Tricare is your mil ID.

As for which plan you are in... you should be able to call the office and ask.

When he enrolled you in DEERS, you were automatically placed on Tricare Standard. You need to find out if he then went ahead & enrolled you in Prime.

"Thank you so much. No matter what, nothing is possible without you behind the scenes bustin heads and takin names. Thank you again. Everything you have done for me means a lot and nothing has gone unnoticed. I love you so much and thank you for saying 'I do.'"
