What format is the ETS date on the LES?

    Advertisements

I am so sorry for bothering you guys with another LES question. .

    Is it ddmmyy or yymmdd?

My husbands ETs on his LES reads as 120813.
His seperation date is supposed to be in Agusut of 2013. But according to what I've been told, his LES says his seperation date was in August, 13, of this year.

My financial aid for school got rejected because they said his seperation date has expired.
When i asked Dh about the ETS about 2 weeks ago when we were trying to figure out the other mess, he said that they told him his ETS was correct. Yet...I still have companies telling me that he was supposed to be out this month....

Military, as a rule, uses date/month/year format.

    8-12-13.

I started writing a lot of things the military way also.

My dh's ETS date on his LES says 121219 which is Dec 19, 2012. He will be extending one year, though so he can retire next year.
So that is odd that his date reflects that he should be out already.
