    Les question

    Advertisements
When you look at the les and it gives you the forecasted amount for the next two paychecks is that the exact amount you'll be getting or just an estimate based off of previous paychecks?

Neither DH or I know. We've never seen a forecasted amount on his LES.

Also, please be advised about the MSOS app you are using. The app does not belong to this site & has no affiliation with this site so they do not know if it is safe to use.

DH asked if you're using the correct mypay because there is a fake one. He asked because we don't have the forecasted amount option.

ETA: Nevermind. I googled it & apparently it's a Marine thing so I'm no help.
We don't get a forecasted amount. No fair

    ETA2:
    This is what I found:

    Section B - FORECAST AMOUNTS.
Box 13 - DATE AND AMOUNT.
    1. DATE. Date of midmonth payday.
    2. AMOUNT. Forecast of amount due on midmonth payday of the
    upcoming month.
Box 14 - DATE AND AMOUNT.
    1. DATE. Date of end-of-month payday.
    2. AMOUNT. Forecast of amount due on end-of-month payday of
    the upcoming month.

Looks like it'll be the amount you'll receive but I can't say for sure.

A ID INFO then it gives his information. Then it says B FORECAST AMOUNT and gives july 15th and aug 01st's forecasted pay amounts....then it's got some other stuff like C split pay info etc.....

Whenever I go to mypay it is mypay.dfas.mil
Could be a Marine thing because I have never seen any of that info.

It's mypay.dfas.mil as well for Df's. He just saw this thread and was reading over my shoulder and agreed.

Okay, that is on the Marine Corps LES and 9 out of 10 times it will be that amount. If it chages it's usually off by cents or a dollar. UNLESS something drastic happens between then and now and usually that's not likely. Anything affecting your pay will say on the bottom of the LES. Like you owe x amount of money which will be taken out on x payday contact x for more info type things. But the forecasted amounts are fairly accurate and usually don't change much each month.

So would something like bah change the amount? He should have had his clothing allowance with this combing check but it's not the amount it should be if that was included.
