Important Benefit ? - Military Benefits

If you are a single guy and your girlfriend got pregnant what if any benefits would he recieve for her &/or the baby? My DH's friend needs to know. Thanks LADIES !!!

The baby would get insurance AFTER its born, I think thats it!

After the baby was born, it could be enrolled in tricare and if the baby was living with him (I think that's the condition but I'm not sure), then he would recieve the higher "with dependants" rate of BAH. That's all the extra money he'd get.

My Brother in Law got BAH before him and my sister got married because they had the baby before!! But, someone said something about a paternity test, they didnt have one!

None for her but the baby would be covered after the birth and you could claim the baby as a dependent after birth.

you will get BAH once the baby is born, not before. and the girl will NOT get any benefits until they are married (if they choose to go that route) but the baby WILL get benefits once put on the member's page 2.

i think if you look in the military forum you'll see someone asked this last week and got quite a few helpful answers
