How exactly does it work? Can I go to a regular eye doctor and get my glasses at somewhere like eyemasters? Does tricare cover the entire cost of glasses, or up to a certain amount??

    I neeeeeed new glasses!

They only cover the eye exam, I believe. I usually do my glasses/contacts at Sam's Club or Walmart to make them more affordable.

Just make sure they take Tricare first, but yeah you can choose where you go.

Do you wear contacts? They won't cover the "contact" portion of an eye exam either.

Tricare covered the total cost of my exam. I did find a few places that offered me a discount on the frames and lenses but it still didn't make it worth it to buy them there. I went to walmart and got lenses and frames for 38 dollars I think.
