    pay question

    ive been wanting to enlist ever since graduating high school. now that ive graduated college i want to use my degree.

    but anyways, would someone be able to tell me what the payrate is for an e3 with less than 2 yrs? i tried googling it but all the sites ive looked at want me to subscribe totheir website.

    i would appreciate the help!!

    I know the Army is letting DH's nephew in as an E4 with a college diploma. Good luck with your decision.

    Might depend on the branch. Best bet would be go talk to recruiters for the branches you are interested in

    I did know a few people that this happened to. Right after they checked into their A school. They became E-4. They had a Masters in Music and they went in as Musicians (MU). This was when I was in the Navy. Pretty sure all branches are different though.

    Yes, very much branch dependent. DH said Air Force is E3.

    Army is E-4. BUT, some soldiers have been "misled" so I would talk with multiple recruiters. DH has a soldier who was a teacher with a college degree and came in as an E-2. He has another where her recruiter convinced her she would be better respected as an officer if she enlisted and then went green to gold instead of college-op OCS. Find the right recruiter that has your interests in mind. There are a ton of good ones out there, but still a few here and there that will do what they need to do and not what you need to do.
