    Does Tricare pay for the clear braces or even a portion of them ?

    As far as I know, they only cover regular braces up to 23 years of age.

    they can pay for invisaline, but you have to be under 23 yrs of age if your a spouse.

    That's good to know. I was looking into it but was told it wouldn't be covered at all. I'm not 23 yet so I'm not sure the reason.

    DD had the option to do it but the orthodontist recommended she get regular braces, and then the invisaline was much more expensive anyway and there is a 1500 cap to orthodontics

    I've had regular braces already. I'm just looking into Invisalign for some minor adjustments. Thanks for the info!
