Lol I was amazed by how fast they were!

I used the one Navgirl posted and I have a question- it says duty zip code, does that mean the base he is stationed from or where are home is? I'm assuming home, but just want to make sure.

And if it is more than our rent, we are free to put the extra towards other bills or bank it correct?

the BAH is based off the duty station - if he is in Boot camp or school right after BC- the BAH will be for where you are.

if you just got married and he is at his PDS and you have not moved to him yet, it will be for where HE is.

Yes, you can keep the difference if it is more than your rent.

Except in special cases (like certain schools, etc.), it is for the base's zip code, not your home. If he is stationed at NAS North Island (on Coronado) but you live in Temecula (which is far away, but much cheaper), you get the North Island BAH.
