    Navy Wife Question

    Advertisements
My df and I are getting married in September. He is currently stationed overseas. He will be back for 30 days in the states when get married. My question is does he have to wait and go to the PSD where he is stationed to put me on deers and his page 2 or can he do it at the closest Navy base?

As far as I know you can go to any base and register you for all of that.

He can go to PSD here at Tinker, heck he can even go over to the Air Force side and do it there. It does not have to be done at a Navy PSD. If you go to some other branch of the military, I recommend him having a set of his orders on him (just in case they want to see them).

Wow. They have come such a long way since 1996 when I married my first husband. Back then we had to go to the PSD he was attached too. Thank goodness they have made it easier. I really appreciate the help ladies. Y'all are the best.

I think it has something to do with everything being done through computers now. makes it easier to pass along information and process things from different locations.

We got married in 1988 and didn't go to the base he was stationed, we went to a reserve base 3 hours away near where we were married.
