    Respite Care

    Advertisements
My son has an EFMP status of 4 and we're moving to DC (Quantico area).... Because my child does not have a spleen, life is a whole lot harder. meaning I cannot take him out to many public places for the next few years. This is going to be especially difficult seeing as my husband is deploying and he is the one who usually watches the kids so I can run errands. His doctor suggested the Respite Care program, but I have no idea how this program works. I would love some incite! Tiffany

I live right by Quantico. I might be available sometime to watch your son. I don't know what EFMP status of 4 means. VA is a good place for all kinds of care and help for special needs and disabled children. You can google Respite Care Quantico.
