    Question College after the Navy

    Advertisements
I honestly feel like this is the stupidest question, but my husband keeps telling me it's true. It just seems off to me.

If you get out of the Navy and decide to go to college using the money they give you for college, do they pay you BAH and still give you health insurance during that time or for a certain amount of time?

What about if you go from active duty to reserves (same question)?

I'm just not understanding anything he is saying and he's being really vague. It's frustrating me. I need straightforward answers!

I don't know about the insurance but if you attend school on campus they give you the equivalent of e-5 w/dep BAH on a monthly basis. I think you have to be considered full time as well.

DH is in the NG and is attending college with the GI bill. He gets BAH for going to school full time however we have not seen a dime for this year yet and he takes his finals on Monday. They are so backed up and behind that we will get the entire semesters' money in January.
