    Question Question about pay periods

    Advertisements
Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just trying to get all this sorted out with little resources available.

From what I understand paydays are the 15th of current month and 1st of next month for any given month (IE: Month of August wages paid on August 15th and September 1st), with pay given the day before if it falls on a weekend or holiday.

After looking at the pay charts, will DH's pay amount be half of the listed amount on the 15th and half on the 1st? (for example: pay chart lists $1400, would be split $700 on the 15th, $700 on the 1st) Or will it be the listed pay amount each time? ($1400 on the 15th, $1400 on the 1st) Is separation pay and BAH split in half each payday or grouped onto one check?

Everything is split in half. So when you look at the pay charts that shows MONTHLY pay, yes.
Beth, Mama to Emmalee (12), Evan (9), and Ella (4 on May 7) (I really REALLY need to update my picture!)

And of course remember that listed number is without taxes or any allotments taken out.

Pay also may not end up being split evenly between the two paychecks.
