dh had a doctor's appointment today finally to check and see if he has sleep apnia. the doctor says he has all the symptoms and has to go on friday to have the sleep test. he was told that if he does have sleep apnia as severe has we think he has it, he could get medically discharged.
has anyone heard that? is that a possibility that he will get medically discharged? i know we won't know anything until after his sleep test on friday, but i just feel at a loss. we will most definitely move back home and i'm guessing the navy won't help with that correct?

Also, if/when a person gets discharged or you finish an enlistment they will pay for you to move back home. They did for me when I got out and left Hawaii for ND. They moved my entire apartment and my car just like a normal move.

They don't always discharge you for that...like others said, it depends.
However for sleep apnia, if you're diagnosed you automatically qualify for 50% disability with the VA so if he qualifies he better get his butt started on disability compensation paperwork if he does get discharged |
