getting a physical/being added to his orders
I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum, but...mods please move it if you want. DF asked me to get a physical and have it notarized/certified before he comes home in March for us to get married. He wants to take that, plus our marriage certificate, and my ss back with him to add me to his orders before we move to California. Has anyone done this when making the transition from military fiancee to miltary wife? What's the process I should follow? TIA!

I don't know...DF said he was talking to someone over there and they suggested it, so if either one of us has any medical conditions or illnesses, it's in our records and we could get treated, or something like that. I dunno....

Neither have I. The Op wouldnt need a physical just to actually get married and be entered into the Deers system so that the Army can actually acknowledge you exist. From that point if your DH ( at that time) has orders he could probably get them ammended... it just depends. Does your DF have orders somewhere else? |
