Okay so , my boyfriend & i are planning to get married soon & i think that once we get married my financial aid will either become less or become nothing. And since we're getting married in the middle of the school semester i'm scared that all my classes will get dropped. Sooooo i need HELP
. Can someone pleaseeeee tell me if the military can pay for a spouse to go to school?.... THANK YOU ...

This. Also look into scholarships. IDk what rank your DH is but i still am almost completely covered by financial aid despite being married. I also have never heard of being dropped from financial aid mid-semester once you've already been aproved and started classes.

It depends what post you're on.
At Fort Riley they will pay for 2 years for sure.. idk about 4 years tho. As far as I know you can only transfer the GI bill if your DH has been in for 6 years or more. |

noo you won't get denied financial aid. If you're under 24, you need to put your parents income down on your fafsa. Getting married just means you put yours and your husbands down instead...and people in the military aren't rolling in the dough. You should still qualify for financial aid. Why don't you talk to a financial aid counselor at your school about it though and see if they have any advice or ideas for you.

Plus if your getting married soon , or real soon? that would make it the next year.. don't you only apply once a year, and they use the last years income information? (which would still be what your using now?) I could be soo off on that one... but thats how i thought it worked?
