Adoption ?'s
Dh and I have been discussing adoption for a while now. For us it just seems to be the best option to grow our family.
Does anyone know if there are services offered through the Army to help with adoption? We already have one child, and are perfectly capable of caring for another one. Our biggest concern is actually dealing with the financial aspect of adoption, on and E2 (E3 next week) wage, we don't have an extra 20 K laying around to pay for a million legal fees to do an adoption. In case this comes up, we are not set on an infant either, we are more than happy to take a child up to the age of 4. Though we would be VERY thrilled with a girl.

I've never gone through the process, but good luck! Adoption is a wonderful thing and it's something I'm definitely considering in the future.

You may want to look into adopting out of foster care. The military helps, but only with a thousand dollars or two of fees. Adopting out of foster care is very low cost and sometimes free depending on the state. Just pay for home studies etc. Only thing is it can take a while (anywhere) so I'd make sure your not PCSing anytime soon.
