ETS benefits?
We were Army and just recently ETS'd and we got the 180 days of medical. My questions is about the Air Force though. We have a friend that is ETSing and he was told that they get no medical benefits as of ETS. Is that true? I would have thought it would be the same.

they can get the same 180 days of benefits- BUT they have to elect BEFORE ETS.
this is not automatic if they have not ETSed have them call tricare- no one else- just tricare- they are the ones that take care of it.
