Maybe someone here can help me
I just got my application for my ID card and I was reading through the info and where my social security number should be there is a completely different number. Do they assign a different ID number or something because DH's social is correct?
Another thing, what do I do now that I've gotten this? I'm totally confused. |

it is quite possible they don't have your social in the system. I didn't have a SSN for the first 2 yrs we were married cause I'm not a citizen and didn't have my greencard, so they just put some numbers and junk. So long as his last 4 is correct, it should be fine

So if his number is correct it doesn't really matter what mine is? Sorry, I'm just trying to make sure I get it right.
I don't understand why they would have a different number. Dh has a notarized copy of my social security card with him and he knows my social, so I'm just confused. |

That happened to mine and it was because they didnt have my social in the system. It was a temp SS # til they have your real one in. If youre able to go back and fix it I would.
